The short version

  • We collect only what you give us in our forms, plus basic website analytics.
  • We use it to reply to your enquiry and to improve this website. Nothing else.
  • We never sell or rent your data, and we don’t add you to marketing lists without asking.
  • You can ask us to see, correct or delete your data at any time by emailing connect@stratigconsulting.in.

1. Who we are

This website is run by Stratig Consulting (“we”, “us”), an IT consulting firm based in Pune, Maharashtra, India. For the personal data described here, we are the Data Fiduciary under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (“DPDP Act”). That means we decide why and how your data is used, and we are responsible for protecting it.

2. What we collect

Information you give us

When you request a strategy call or send us an enquiry, we collect:

  • Your name, email address and phone number
  • Your company name, if you provide it
  • The service you’re interested in and any message you write
  • The date and time you submitted the form

If you previously registered for one of our training programmes, we also hold your registration details, such as your experience level and any referral code you used.

If you email, call or message us on WhatsApp, we receive whatever you choose to send, along with your email address or phone number.

Information collected automatically

When you browse this website, our analytics tools collect:

  • Pages you visit, how long you stay and how you arrived (for example, from Google search or a link)
  • Approximate location (city or region, not your exact address), device type, browser and screen size
  • Clicks, scrolling and mouse movement, used to understand which parts of a page are useful or confusing

Microsoft Clarity is configured to mask what you type into form fields, so session recordings do not capture your name, email, phone number or message.

We do not knowingly collect sensitive information such as financial account details, health data or government ID numbers. Please don’t include these in a form or message.

3. Why we use it

  • To respond to you. Contacting you about your enquiry, scheduling a call and preparing for it.
  • To deliver services if you become a client, under the terms of our agreement with you.
  • To improve this website. Understanding which content is useful and where visitors get stuck.
  • To keep the website secure and prevent spam or misuse of our forms.
  • To meet legal obligations, such as tax and accounting records for clients.

We process the details you submit on the basis of your consent, which you give by submitting the form. You can withdraw that consent at any time (see section 7). Withdrawing it doesn’t affect anything we did before you withdrew it.

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data. We share it only with the service providers below, who process it on our behalf and only for the purposes described here:

Some of these providers store data on servers outside India. Where that happens, we rely on their contractual and security commitments, and transfers are made only to countries not restricted by the Government of India under the DPDP Act.

We may also disclose data if required by law, a court order or a government authority.

5. Cookies and analytics

This website uses cookies set by Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to count visits and understand how the site is used. We do not use advertising or retargeting cookies.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and the website will continue to work. You can also opt out of Google Analytics across all websites with Google’s browser add-on.

6. How long we keep it

  • Enquiries that don’t lead to a project: up to 24 months after our last contact with you, then deleted.
  • Client records: for the duration of our engagement, plus as long as Indian tax and accounting law requires.
  • Analytics data: according to each tool’s retention settings, typically 14 months or less.

Your data is deleted sooner if you ask us to and we have no legal reason to keep it.

7. Your rights

Under the DPDP Act, you have the right to:

  • Access a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we use it
  • Correct, complete or update data that is inaccurate or out of date
  • Erase your data when it’s no longer needed, or when you withdraw consent
  • Withdraw consent at any time, as easily as you gave it
  • Raise a grievance with us, and receive a response
  • Nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event of death or incapacity

To use any of these rights, email connect@stratigconsulting.in with the subject line “Privacy request”. We may ask you to confirm your identity before acting. We aim to respond within 30 days.

8. How we protect it

Submitted data is stored in an access-controlled database. Only authorised staff can view it, after signing in, and the public parts of this website can add an enquiry but cannot read existing ones. All traffic to this website is encrypted with HTTPS. No system is completely secure, but if a breach affecting your personal data occurs, we will notify you and the Data Protection Board of India as the law requires.

9. Children

Our services are for businesses, and this website is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Grievance Officer

If you have a concern about how we handle your personal data, contact our Grievance Officer:

If you’re not satisfied with our response, you may file a complaint with the Data Protection Board of India.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our practices or the law change. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when it was last revised. If we make a significant change to how we use your data, we will tell you before it takes effect where we can.
